Dings Eddy Current Separators

Recover valuable non-ferrous metals from mixed material.

Dings Eddy Current Separators

Eddy Current Separators for your process

Aluminium and other recoverable metals leaving with your nonmetallic fraction?

Dings eddy current separators use a high-speed permanent rare-earth magnetic rotor to repel conductive non-ferrous pieces. A splitter separates their discharge trajectory from nonmetallic material.

RTS helps review your operating conditions, installation, and separation goals with Dings before recommending a configuration.

What this equipment can help you do

Non-ferrous recovery

Target conductive metals such as aluminium.

Separate product streams

Divide recovered metal from materials such as plastic, wood, and fluff.

Process fit

Review the feed preparation and discharge arrangement as part of the recovery line.

How the separation works

1

Feed a controlled layer

Present a consistent material stream on the separator belt.

2

Induce eddy currents

The rotating magnetic field creates a repelling force in conductive metal.

3

Divide the discharge

The splitter separates the longer metal trajectory from the nonmetallic stream.

Configuration & selection

Separation method
High-speed magnetic rotor with a separately moving belt and wear shell.
Feed review
Particle size distribution, moisture, composition, loading, and presentation.
Performance target
Agree recovery and purity priorities for the actual feed.

Options to discuss

  • Feed distribution and upstream screening
  • Ferrous removal ahead of the separator
  • Splitter and discharge layout
  • Controls, access, and maintenance space

Share your material composition, size range, moisture, feed rate, upstream equipment, and recovery or purity target. Include photos or drawings when available.

Plan your application review

Is this the same as a ferrous magnet?

No. Use magnetic separation for ferrous removal and an eddy current separator for suitable conductive non-ferrous recovery. RTS can review both stages together.

What will RTS need to confirm the recommendation?

Send the duty information above, the main problem with your current system, and your target result. We will review the equipment, installation constraints, and any testing needed before final selection.

Can RTS assist with an existing installation?

Send the model and serial number, installation photos, and a description of the issue. We can review the next steps for application support, replacement equipment, or parts.
