Complementary mixing
Combine high shear with an anchor or scraper for viscous products.

We help manufacturers reduce batch times, eliminate lumps, improve powder incorporation, create stable emulsions, and achieve more consistent production results.
Silverson mixers support food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, chemical, coatings, adhesives, battery materials, and other quality-critical processing applications where conventional agitation is not enough.

Add high shear where your vessel needs it.

A thick product that circulates slowly or powders that resist wetting?
Silverson Bottom Entry mixers mount through the bottom or side of a vessel. For viscous products, they are commonly paired with a slow-speed anchor or scraper that circulates the batch while the Silverson workhead provides localized high shear.
Tell RTS what you are making, what is slowing production, and the result you need. We can help review the equipment approach with Silverson.
Combine high shear with an anchor or scraper for viscous products.
Also suitable for powder incorporation into lower viscosity liquids.
Sanitary construction and specialized seal options are available.
Ingredients enter the vessel-mounted rotor/stator workhead.
Mechanical and hydraulic shear act on material in the head.
The discharge returns to the batch; a scraper or stirrer can support circulation.
Share your batch size or flow rate, viscosity, ingredients, temperature, vessel or pipe layout, cleaning requirements, and available power. Include drawings or photos when available.
A short description of the formulation, your current mixing method, the main problem, and your target result. Approximate quantities and a process sketch are a useful starting point.
Ask RTS about the available testing route for your product. Include the quantity of material you can provide and how you will judge the result.
Review the exact model, materials, seals, motor, cleaning method, and installation requirements with RTS before ordering. Published ranges describe the equipment family rather than a guarantee for every formulation.
