Silverson High Shear Mixers - Faster Mixing, Better Product Consistency, and Improved Process Performance

We help manufacturers reduce batch times, eliminate lumps, improve powder incorporation, create stable emulsions, and achieve more consistent production results.

Silverson mixers support food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, chemical, coatings, adhesives, battery materials, and other quality-critical processing applications where conventional agitation is not enough.

Silverson High Shear Batch Mixers

Mix, emulsify, and disperse directly in your vessel.

Silverson Batch Mixers

Batch Mixers for your process

Long mixing cycles, persistent lumps, or inconsistent batches?

Silverson batch mixers use an immersed rotor/stator workhead to process liquids and solids inside a mixing vessel. Interchangeable heads let the mixer tackle different mixing duties.

Tell RTS what you are making, what is slowing production, and the result you need. We can help review the equipment approach with Silverson.

What this mixer can help you do

Versatile processing

Emulsify, homogenize, dissolve solids, and break down agglomerates.

Vessel circulation

The workhead draws material in, applies shear, and returns it to the batch.

Flexible installation

Vessel mounting and mobile floor stands are available for suitable models.

How the process works

1

Draw material in

The rotating workhead draws ingredients from the vessel into the rotor/stator assembly.

2

Apply shear

Material passes through the rotor/stator clearance and stator openings.

3

Recirculate the batch

Processed material returns to the vessel while fresh material enters the head.

Options to discuss

  • Multipurpose batch mixers
  • Large-scale batch mixers
  • Duplex disintegrator/dissolvers
  • Abramix for abrasive materials

Share your batch size or flow rate, viscosity, ingredients, temperature, vessel or pipe layout, cleaning requirements, and available power. Include drawings or photos when available.

Plan your application review

What should I send for an initial recommendation?

A short description of the formulation, your current mixing method, the main problem, and your target result. Approximate quantities and a process sketch are a useful starting point.

Can we discuss a material trial?

Ask RTS about the available testing route for your product. Include the quantity of material you can provide and how you will judge the result.

How do we confirm the final specification?

Review the exact model, materials, seals, motor, cleaning method, and installation requirements with RTS before ordering. Published ranges describe the equipment family rather than a guarantee for every formulation.
