Direct powder incorporation
Powder and liquid meet in the mixer’s high shear zone.

We help manufacturers reduce batch times, eliminate lumps, improve powder incorporation, create stable emulsions, and achieve more consistent production results.
Silverson mixers support food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, chemical, coatings, adhesives, battery materials, and other quality-critical processing applications where conventional agitation is not enough.

Incorporate powders into liquids with less manual handling.

Floating powder, fisheyes, or slow powder addition?
Silverson Flashmix combines a powder feed arrangement with a specially modified In-Line mixer. Its pumping action introduces powder directly into the liquid stream and high shear zone, helping produce a uniform dispersion.
Tell RTS what you are making, what is slowing production, and the result you need. We can help review the equipment approach with Silverson.
Powder and liquid meet in the mixer’s high shear zone.
A low-level hopper provides an accessible powder addition point.
Configurations suit higher viscosity mixes and elevated temperatures.
Liquid flows from the process vessel through the mixer.
Opening the feed valve allows powder into the moving liquid stream.
The mix passes through the high shear zone and returns to the vessel.
Share your batch size or flow rate, viscosity, ingredients, temperature, vessel or pipe layout, cleaning requirements, and available power. Include drawings or photos when available.
A short description of the formulation, your current mixing method, the main problem, and your target result. Approximate quantities and a process sketch are a useful starting point.
Ask RTS about the available testing route for your product. Include the quantity of material you can provide and how you will judge the result.
Review the exact model, materials, seals, motor, cleaning method, and installation requirements with RTS before ordering. Published ranges describe the equipment family rather than a guarantee for every formulation.
