Silverson High Shear Mixers - Faster Mixing, Better Product Consistency, and Improved Process Performance

We help manufacturers reduce batch times, eliminate lumps, improve powder incorporation, create stable emulsions, and achieve more consistent production results.

Silverson mixers support food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, chemical, coatings, adhesives, battery materials, and other quality-critical processing applications where conventional agitation is not enough.

Silverson High Shear In-Line Mixers

Bring controlled high shear into your process line.

Silverson In-Line Mixers

In-Line Mixers for your process

Uneven dispersions, agglomerates, or an overloaded mixing vessel?

Silverson In-Line mixers process material through an enclosed rotor/stator workhead. They can be integrated into a recirculation loop or a continuous process, with configuration selected around the product and required result.

Tell RTS what you are making, what is slowing production, and the result you need. We can help review the equipment approach with Silverson.

What this mixer can help you do

Defined processing path

Product passes through the workhead rather than bypassing it.

Enclosed mixing

Aeration-free operation helps avoid unnecessary air incorporation.

Adaptable workheads

Interchangeable heads support emulsifying, dispersing, dissolving, and disintegrating.

How the process works

1

Feed the mixer

Liquid and solid ingredients enter the rotor/stator assembly.

2

Apply high shear

Mechanical and hydraulic shear process the material within the head.

3

Discharge or recirculate

Product exits into the pipework for the next stage or a return to the vessel.

Configuration & selection

Product-contact material
316L stainless steel; special materials available.
Cleaning
Models designed for CIP and SIP are available.
Pumping
Self-pumping capability depends on model, viscosity, and system conditions.

Options to discuss

  • General duty In-Line mixers
  • Multistage workheads
  • High viscosity configurations
  • Small-scale and Ultra Sanitary models

Share your batch size or flow rate, viscosity, ingredients, temperature, vessel or pipe layout, cleaning requirements, and available power. Include drawings or photos when available.

Plan your application review

What should I send for an initial recommendation?

A short description of the formulation, your current mixing method, the main problem, and your target result. Approximate quantities and a process sketch are a useful starting point.

Can we discuss a material trial?

Ask RTS about the available testing route for your product. Include the quantity of material you can provide and how you will judge the result.

How do we confirm the final specification?

Review the exact model, materials, seals, motor, cleaning method, and installation requirements with RTS before ordering. Published ranges describe the equipment family rather than a guarantee for every formulation.
