FlexEductor™ Liquid Mixing Eductor

Bring dry ingredients into your liquid process.

Powder-to-liquid mixing, hydration, and dispersion with Flexicon’s pump-driven eductor system. Talk to RTS about connecting dry ingredient handling with your tank or process line.

Materials to discuss: Polymers • Starches • Clays • Pigments • Gums • Hydrocolloids

From dry material to a liquid stream

The FlexEductor uses a patented nozzle to create a Venturi effect, drawing powder into flowing liquid for dispersion.

RTS can help you review the complete transfer path: how ingredients arrive, where they enter the liquid, and where the mixture goes next.

Start with your material and process. We’ll help identify the right configuration.

How the system works

1

Supply the liquid

A centrifugal, twin-screw, or rotary lobe pump supplies motive liquid.

2

Introduce the powder

The nozzle-generated vacuum draws dry ingredients from the induction hopper.

3

Deliver the mixture

The combined stream flows toward a mixing tank, slurry tank, or reaction vessel.

Mixing without moving parts inside the eductor

The static eductor creates a high-energy mixing zone to reduce lumps and support rapid ingredient incorporation. The separate supply pump drives liquid flow.

Review your current addition method with RTS, including charging time, material buildup, cleanup, and the consistency you need from each batch.

Tell us where the process needs to improve

  • Powder addition takes too long.
  • Operators struggle with lumps or uneven wetting.
  • Ingredients are difficult to introduce at the tank.
  • Cleaning and changeovers consume production time.
  • The next expansion needs a more organized ingredient flow.

Useful details for an application review

  • Powder name, bulk density, and quantity per batch.
  • Liquid type, temperature, and viscosity.
  • Required solids concentration and batch time.
  • Existing pump, tank, and piping arrangement.
  • Cleaning requirements, available space, and electrical supply.

Common application questions

Can we use our existing tank and pump?

Send RTS the equipment details and a simple layout. We’ll review the proposed arrangement with Flexicon before recommending a configuration.

What mixing rate can we expect?

Provide your target rate, ingredients, and liquid conditions. Capacity and performance need to be evaluated for your application rather than assumed from the product name.

Can RTS help with the complete ingredient addition system?

Yes. We can coordinate the discussion around receiving, unloading, conveying, feeding, liquid mixing, and controls, including the interfaces with your existing equipment.
