Radar Level Transmitters for your process

Measure a changing level without a probe touching the material.

UWT NivoRadar NR 7100 uses 80 GHz FMCW radar for continuous level measurement. The compact sensor is reviewed around the vessel, measuring range, filling pattern and the surface being measured. Obstructions and process conditions remain part of a proper installation review.

Example: Monitor a tank or suitable bulk-solids vessel without a mechanical sensing weight.

Also known as: Non-contact radar sensors, NivoRadar NR 7100, continuous radar level.

Measure continuously

the instrument provides a changing level reading rather than only a limit switch.

Review the beam path

nozzles, internal structures and filling streams affect mounting.

Plan setup and output

power, signal integration and configuration must suit the control system.

How It Works

1

Transmit radar toward the surface

2

Measure the returning signal

3

Calculate and output the changing level

Typical Materials & Industries

Liquids

surface behaviour, foam and vessel geometry need review.

Bulk solids

surface angle, filling and signal conditions influence suitability.

Industrial storage

confirm the exact range and environmental requirements.

Non-contact radar principle

UWT explains free-beam NivoRadar measurement. This is a family principle video; use the NR 7100 technical manual for the featured model’s setup and application limits.
