Enclosed transfer
Review a contained conveying route between process points.

Improve Material Flow | Increase Reliability | Reduce Downtime
We help identify and implement the right KWS Manufacturing solution for bulk material conveying, screw feeding, bucket elevating, drag conveying, slide gates, live bottoms, hoppers, bins, and custom engineered material handling systems. From food ingredients and chemicals to cement, aggregates, agriculture, mining, wastewater, recycling, and other dry bulk materials, KWS equipment helps manufacturers improve material flow, increase production efficiency, and maximize process reliability.

Do you need to transfer material that is already being fed at a controlled rate?
KWS shafted screw conveyors move bulk material through an enclosed trough or tube using a rotating screw. Select the arrangement around the product, conveying route, and inlet conditions.
Typical application
Transfer powder from a feeder to the next process vessel.
Also known as: Shafted screw conveyors, auger conveyors, screw augers.
Dry powders, granules and semi-fluid bulk solids. Typical duties include food ingredient transfer, chemical processing and mineral handling.
KWS explains controlled transfer versus withdrawal from a flood-loaded hopper. See why inlet conditions and screw design matter when selecting equipment.
KWS application example
An inclined screw conveyor collects copper powder from a grinder and feeds a bucket elevator. This KWS project illustrates how the transfer route and connected equipment can be designed around limited plant space.

Review a contained conveying route between process points.
Discuss horizontal or inclined arrangements and multiple outlets.
Match wear surfaces, construction, and screw geometry to the duty.
Material enters at the agreed controlled feed rate.
The rotating screw moves product along the selected route.
Material leaves through one or more planned outlets.
Share your material, bulk density, throughput, conveying length, incline, and inlet conditions. Include a drawing or photos when available.
A conveyor transfers material supplied at a controlled rate. A feeder controls withdrawal beneath a flood-loaded hopper or bin. Tell RTS how material reaches the inlet so we can select the correct approach.
Start with the material, operating conditions, capacity, installation dimensions, and the problem you want to solve. RTS will review the requirements with KWS and identify missing information before a final selection.
Send the equipment model or serial number, photos, drawings, and a description of the issue. We can discuss replacement equipment, parts, or an application review.
Manufacturer resources support the review; final dimensions, materials, and options are confirmed with the quotation.
